Happy 2nd Birthday!

We have officially entered the TERRIBLE TWO'S. Asthynn turned two on the 17th. Wow, how the time has flown. She is such a big girl. She loves to play, talk, and watch Dora the Explorer. She does everything by herself, which is helpful...but slower. I need to work on being more patient. She is starting to speak in sentences and will repeat anything you ask her to say. I love watching her grow. Everyday she learns something new; like this week she started saying OK whenever I ask her to do something.
We decided to not have a big party this year as last year's was big enough for both years. We spent Saturday night with Grandma Leanna and Grandpa Bill. We went to Ashtynn's favorite restaurant (wink, wink) Texas Roadhouse and ate ribs. She got to sit on the saddle and got a free cowboy hat. She loved it!

Afterwards, we went to Grandma's house, where there was a Dora cake waiting.

A new keyboard that plays a couple songs. It also makes for a great alarm clock at 7:00am, ask Clint.

Another birthday cake, this one from Grandma Harris! Is it bad that as parents we didn't even buy a birthday cake for our kid's birthday, so both grandma's did? Don't answer that.

Too many presents!!

Her birthday went well. We have way to many toys now and will need to purge. And everyone take it easy on Clint for a while for Ashtynn's and my sanity. The Cowboys got demolished yesterday and I have yet to see any tears, which means he is taking it pretty good. He has started the countdown to next season. "Next year," seems to be his AND the Cowboys moto!

I took this picture because I thought it was really funny that when I got out the vacuum she grabbed her shoes and sat on the back of the couch. Does that mean that I don't vacuum enough? Don't answer that either. :)
