LOTS OF PICS!

Here is the catch up blog!

We truly had a great summer, filled with lots of camping. We must have gone camping every weekend that we didn't have other stuff going on. As you can see, we bought this 1960's camp trailer early in the summer! I know, its not too easy on the eyes but it is in really great condition and it was in our budget! It is nice to not sleep on the ground, especially with kids.

Another camping trip. This one Ashtynn caught her first fish! Thanks to the help of a friend of Aunt Georgia's. She didn't mind touching the worms. Yuck!

Swimming in the freezing cold creek.

Clint gave her one of those GIANT gobstopper. Her lips were blue for about a week.

We took a trip to Yellowstone on a whim. We saw buffalo, deer, elk, and even a bear. I hadn't been to Yellowstone since I was young and didn't realize how amazing it is! I would love to camp there next summer and have more time to explore.

Here is a classic buffalo in the road holding up traffic. It looks huge next to the car doesn't it!

We walked up to see Old Faithful, stood for only about 2 minutes, and it went off! It was perfect timing.

So beautiful!
Ashtynn had swimming lessons this summer. I had to get in with her and swim which wouldn't have been too bad, except I was already largely pregnant. She had a blast and was the only child who would not get out of the pool when our class was over. She threw a fit almost every day because she didn't want to get out! The teacher had to help me coax her out!

I talked Clint into taking her on this day during his lunch break.

She says this is how I look when I get mad. I have no idea where she came up with this but...it is dang funny!

We took a trip to see Clint's dad in Northern Idaho over Labor Day. We all went out on the his big yellow boat. The boys all fished while the rest of us were sea sick. It was still fun though. Clint jumped into the freezing water and Ashtynn wanted in too. She didn't have a swimming suit so she skinny dipped! Life jacket only!

Ashtynn's first day of dance class with her now good friend Olivia.

Clint and I painted Ashtynn's room pink in preparation for our second little girl. It turned out pretty cute.

Almost caught up...

This is her all bundled up to play in the snow. Too bad I didn't get a picture of her and her Daddy playing in the snow. :(

Clint and his girls ready for the game. Too bad the cowboys had such a hard season. True fans, I guess, in their cowboys gear.

Alright this is Christmas time.

Big sis and little sis in Christmas dresses.

My two cute girls!

Two sets of those crazy toes. I am not sure which family they got them from...any ideas?

Baby Brielle

Christmas morning. Clint putting together the dollhouse. Whenever someone would ask her what she was getting for Christmas, Ashtynn would always say a dollhouse. Or if she saw a commercial for the dollhouse she would say, "I am getting that for Christmas." I was sure she didn't see it when I bought it, but I guess she did. We still convinced her that Santa brought it for her.

Brielle was blessed on January 2nd by her Great Grandpa Crook.

I had Clint's cousin take some pictures of Brielle. Here is my favorite so far. More to come!

Wow! You guys had a fun, busy summer! Where did you do swim lessons? I want to get the kids in this summer. I can't believe how much hair Brielle has! She looked beautiful in her blessing dress!
