The other day I decided to try to put curlers in Ashtynn's hair, just for something fun. My mom used to put curlers in Linsey's and my hair all the time when we were little, so I gave it a try. Ashtynn was pretty good about sitting there, not still, but not bad for a one year old.
What a little model with attitude too. Diva!
So it turned out to look like an afro because her hair is still pretty short. I had to sit and pull all the curls out to get it to look this long. She still kinda looked like a poodle. But it was cute.

Not so bad with a little help. I think I liked it better because the curls were looser.
She looked very cute until she woke up from her nap. There was no saving it after that and she looked like Doc Brown from Back to the Future. Too bad I didn't get any pics.
That night we played volleyball at Rigby. Ashtynn and I rode the bus with all the girls. What an adventure! Ashtynn loved all the attention all the girls gave her and the varsity coach has two little girls that are 11 and 7 that just love Ashtynn. The two of them and the varsity girls watched Ashtynn while my team played. They were great with her. Ashtynn told a parent when she was "stinky" and they even changed her diaper. We stopped at Arctic Circle on the way home and got an ice cream, then headed out. We got home at about 10:30 at night and put Ashtynn right in bed. She was exhausted. It was an adventure for sure.

While we were at the birthday party Clint's family thought it would be funny to steal my camera and take silly pictures with it. Ya know what is even funnier... me posting them for everyone to see. HA HA HA!

Oh ya, on a side note, my volleyball team's undefeated record did not last. We lost our very next game and our record now is 3 wins, 7 losses. At least we beat Hillcrest this week. That is all that really matters, right? We are improving and have 3 more weeks to show our stuff. Hopefully no more losses.

Ashtynn looks so cute with curly hair! Now you know what I have to deal with every morning with Jordann's hair. By the way that is pretty brutal to post those pics! I don't know if I would forgive you for that one!
Such a cutie. Heck yes we are Redskin fans! We'll have to see when they play the Cowboys and have a party...I will admit though, you will probably beat us since we lost to the LIONS last night (who haven't won in 19 games before last night) Oh well!
