Ashtynn turns 1!

So I MADE my family go to get family pictures taken. Little did I know what a pain in the butt it is to get a 1 year old to sit still for pictures. It was horrible. She was so naughty. All she wanted to do was run around or cry. Her daddy was about as difficult. Jeeze, remind me not to try that again anytime soon. At least we got a few pictures that were worth paying for.

On a happier note, Ashtynn had her first birthday party. It was Hello Kitty theme. And yes we went over the top. You only turn 1 once, right.
My mom helped to plan and decorate and cook for the party. It was a blast! Thank you everyone who came.

I love hello kitty, I hope Ashtynn does too.

A couple of weekends ago we went to a Jazz game. Linsey and Mark were suppose to go with us but you have all seen what James looked like, right (check out the crook blog if not). They didn't think that a babysitter would appreciate the horrible rash covered child, so we asked Clint's sister Georgia and her husband Kyle to come along. We sat in the nosebleeds (third row down from the top!) but it was still way fun. We took our binoculars. The Jazz were playing the Cleveland Cavaliers with Lebron James. He is amazing!! The Jazz lost, but it was a close game.

We had a Super Bowl party with Clint's family in our new basement. It worked out perfect. The kids played in the playroom while we watched the game. Clint won $200 on the score of the first quarter!! Bruce Springstein was not a big hit at our house so we made our own fun by having a huge ball war. We were throwing all the balls from the ball pit at each other as hard as we could. It only a hurt a little bit. Kyle was brutal and Clint hit me in the eye, but it is all fun and games. The "kids" loved it!
